To get away  from the Mobile phone, the internet and the hustle and bustle of the city. Just relax on the veranda and watch the sunset over the majestic pine forest and rolling hills of the surrounding country side.

BUSHWALKING

Sunset House adjoins the Pennsylvania State Forest and is an ideal bushwalking destination. It is spotted with tracks and trails and abundant wildlife.

FISHING

Enjoy fishing for the Trout in your very own back yard with the fish stocked dam.
Imagine catching a healthy trout and having it on the BBQ within minutes of leaving the water.
You can also try your luck for great Redfin, Trout & Golden Perch in the grand waterways of Wangala Dam or Carcoar Dam.

MINI QUAD BIKE

Sunset House has its own “Mini Quad” bike ideal for kids, both large and small to learn how to ride a motor bike.

HISTORIC VILLAGES

The area boasts the historical villages of Millthorpe, Carcoar, Newbridge, Neville, Lyndhurst and Mandurama. Most of the townships were settled in the early 1800?s and as a consequence historical shop fronts, workers cottage, bluestone churches and grand townhouses make a visit to these villages a trip back in history. Village cafes and gift shops are open to visitors at weekends and some days during the week.
